Lasers

We offer a variety of laser treatments, including:

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers refer to injectable gels that are placed under the skin to give volume back to your skin.   Some of the injectable fillers that we use in this office are:

Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are safe and effective medicines that are injected into certain facial muscles to soften wrinkles and improve the appearance of facial lines. Forehead wrinkles, “crow’s feet” around the eyes, “bunny lines” on the nose and lines around the lips are common places for injection.

Ear Piercing

We pierce ears.  Our earrings are “medical plastic”, that is, made of a strong plastic post and back.  These earrings prevent sensitization of the skin with nickel, a common cause of skin allergy; nickel is present in most standard earrings used in piercing.

Products

We carry a number of products in the office including cleansers, sunscreens, glycolic acid and Vitamin C pads, Replenix™ serum and exfoliating scrub.  Feel free to ask about these!

Internal Medicine

Internists receive at least 3 years of specialty training to deal with whatever problem a patient brings—no matter how common or rare, or how simple or complex. They are specially trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems and can handle severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time. They also bring to patients an understanding of wellness (disease prevention and the promotion of health), women's health, substance abuse, mental health, as well as effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs. -American College of Physicians

Primary Care

Dr. Morgan is a general internist, or a primary care physician. Dr. Morgan cares for men and women over the age of 18 for the prevention and treatment of adult diseases, and offers weight loss and smoking cessation counseling. As a specialist in adult medicine, his approach is that of seeing the whole patient, from one's immediate medical needs, to managing complex medical issues that may require the intervention of multiple specialists, and to assisting the patient in choices for healthy living. Most importantly, Dr. Morgan has built his reputation on his approach to the patient: kind, patient, and empathic.

Home Care and Palliative Medicine

A vital part of Dr. Morgan's practice is that of Home Care and Palliative Medicine. Many patients, because of illness or advanced age, cannot leave their homes to visit the doctor. House calls can be arranged. Dr. Morgan makes house calls to homes in and surrounding the Montclair and Cedar Grove areas, including Verona, Glen Ridge, Little Falls, Paterson, and the Oranges. Please call our office to schedule a home visit, or contact us online.

Palliative care medicine focuses on relief of the pain, stress and other debilitating symptoms of serious illness.

Although times of serious illness can bring on questions and hardships for patients and their families, Dr. Morgan is a subspecialist in delivering care to chronically and seriously ill patients, and helping to provide relief from suffering at the end of one's life. Dr. Morgan is a board certified physician with the American Board of Palliative Care Medicine.

Palliative care has its roots in helping to provide relief from pain and suffering. It is not the end of medical treatment for patients, and often patients need medical treatments, such as antibiotics and pain control, as they face serious illness.
